This policy describes what MindPilotQ does with information when you use mindpilotq.com. It is written in plain language. If a sentence here and a sentence in the product ever disagree, the more specific sentence about a calculator is the one to trust, and you can email us to ask which we meant.
What you type into a calculator
Bill totals, incomes, category amounts, savings goals, and the names you optionally attach to people in a split are processed in your browser. The calculator saves those inputs in local storage on your device so the form can be restored. That storage is not a MindPilotQ account. We do not receive those figures as part of running the calculation, and the calculation does not require a login.
You can remove them by clearing the site data or local storage for mindpilotq.com in your browser settings. Copy and Share are actions you take. If you share, the text or the picture goes to the app you pick, under that app's own rules. We do not operate that share sheet.
If you write to booklooker97@gmail.com, we receive whatever you put in the message, including your address and any numbers you chose to include. We use that mail to answer you and to correct the site. Please do not send account credentials or identity documents. We do not sell the contents of that mailbox.
Server logs
The host that serves the site may keep ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, user agent, the address of the page, and the time of the request. Those logs are a normal part of running a website and of defending it against abuse. We do not use them to identify the dollars you typed into a form, because those dollars are not in the request.
Analytics
The pages include code for Google Analytics 4. While the measurement ID is still the placeholder G-XXXXXXXXXX, the analytics script is not loaded. When a real measurement ID is put in place before launch, the site will load Google's gtag.js library and send page views plus a short list of events: calc_start, calc_result, guide_read, and share_click. Those events are meant to record that a tool was used or that a guide was read. They are not meant to include the dollar amounts you entered, and the current event calls do not attach those amounts.
Google processes analytics data under its own terms. You can limit cookies and similar storage in your browser. If you do not want analytics requests, you can also use a browser feature that blocks them. We do not use Google Tag Manager, and we do not place Google Ads remarketing code on these pages.
Advertising
This version of the site does not load advertising scripts and does not draw ad units on the page. A file named ads.txt names the publisher account that would be allowed to sell advertising on this domain if ads are turned on later: google.com, pub-1802767017402214. If that changes, this policy and ads.txt should change together. Future ads, if added, would be subject to the provider's own data practices, and we would update this page before relying on them.
Children
MindPilotQ is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continued use of the site after the date changes means you are looking at the newer policy. Questions go to booklooker97@gmail.com.
